Funeral services for Glenn Michael Holub, 55, of Brenham, were held on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016 at Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic Curch in Dubina with Father Wayne Flagg officiating. Burial followed in the Dubina Catholic Cemetery. Holub was born on Sept. 7, 1961 to Edwin and Willie Mae(Adamcik) Holub of Weimar. He was a loving son, brother, friend, and an example to everyone who knew him. Glenn was an angel on earth and even though he was born with Down Sydrome andcould not speak, he communicated in his own special way. In 1974 Glenn moved to the Brenham State Support Living Center. He was employed at the Brenham Production Services (BPS). Glenn was a good natured and easy going person who loved going to work every day. Throughout the years Glenn participated in the Special Olympics. He enjoyed visiting with family and friends, attending church on Sundays, listening to music, watching tv, being outside, throwing the ball, and yes he loved his coffee. Glenn had an impact on everyone he knew and our hearts break that he was taken too soon. Survivors include: mother Willie Mae (Adamcik) Holub of Weimar; sisters Linda Crooks and husband Robert of Crosby, Diane Holub of Weimar, Cynthia Krause of La Grange, and Kelli Nadeau and husband Paul of Austin; three nieces Keitha Crooks and fiance Jimmy Flowers of Crosby, Aimee Krause of La Grange, and Sara Essoufi of Austin; five nephews Walter Crooks of San Antonio, Lloyd Crooks and wife Trish of Dayton, Keith Krause and wife Whitney of San Antonio, Adam and Zane Essoufi of Austin; nine great nieces and newphews.
