Update From the Voting Booth

The 2016 election season is coming down to the wire.

The last day for early voting at the Fayette County courthouse is Friday, Nov. 4. 

You can vote there until 7 p.m. that day.

After that, your last chance to vote is Election Day,  Tuesday, Nov. 8. Polling places around the county will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. that day.

Elections administrator Teri Hefner said 4,089 people had voted early through Tuesday and that, despite the crowds, everything had gone smoothly.
