Zajicek

Albert (Rabbit) Zajicek, 84, of Wallis, died Oct. 24, 2016. Albert was born in Fayetteville to Fred and Jennie (Janis) Zajicek on Jan. 22, 1932. He married Jeanette Sliva on Sept. 20, 1959 and made their home in Wallis. He enjoyed fishing in the Brazos River and in Matagorda where he did a lot of shrimping. He also loved to deer hunt and any other wild game. He also enjoyed camping and water skiing with family and friends and mini trips with nieces and nephews to Six Flags, Hemisphere, Astro World and various other places. He loved his baseball, especially those Astros and the Texans football team. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jeanette; brother, Raymond Zajicek and wife, Margaret of Columbus; and his boys, Cocoa and Toby. He is preceded in death by his father and mother; sisters, Leona Janes and Edna Sodolak; brothers, Victor and Hugo Zajicek.
