Democrats Blue In a Red State

A small group of Fayette County Democrats were shocked, but philosophical about the results of Tuesday’s presidential election. The champagne went unopened. “I heard the sun came up this morning, but I couldn’t see it,” Fayette County Democratic chair David DeLuca said Wednesday morning when asked his reaction to the election of Donald Trump. “Something important and fundamental has changed and (I’m) just not sure how that change is going to roll out, what it’s going to look like. I’m very concerned.
