Flatonia Accepts Police Chief’s Resignation

Flatonia City Council accepted the resignation of Flatonia Police Chief Mike Noak on Tuesday, Nov. 8. City Manager Mark McLaughlin said Noak’s resignation will be effective on January 3, 2017. McLaughlin said Noak cited personal reasons for the resignation. The Record attempted to contact Noak to ask why he decided to resign, but he had not responded at the time of this publication.

McLaughlin said the City will begin a search for a new police chief.
