After Touring District I’m Ready to ‘Get Things Done’

After six wonderful weeks traveling from Austin to Houston, Congress is back to business and ready to get things done. This month I am introducing my new monthly column. It is important to me that residents of Texas’s Tenth Congressional District are kept up-to-date with what is going on in Washington, D.C. and back home in the district. As chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security, I am constantly troubled with the state of the homeland.
