Washington Man Arrested For Burglarizing Hengst

La Grange Police arrested a man who they believe burglarized Hengst Printing on Nov. 23.

According to La Grange Police Chief Jackie Skelton, police arrested 21-year-old Joseph Deters of Auburn, Washington, on Monday, Dec. 12. La Grange Police released a photo of the suspect captured by security cameras at Hengst Printing after the burglary took place. Skelton said two members of the public contacted police with information about the suspect after seeing the photo on social media.

Skelton said Deters was visiting family in the area. Skelton said Deters is a suspect in a number of other burglaries that have taken place in the area. Skelton added that Deters has a criminal record in the State of Washington. Deters was booked into the Fayette County Jail with bond set at $50,000.
