Beverly Searle, 83, died on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016 at her residence in Youngsville, La.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved husband, Dr. Noel Bonham Searle, M.D. of Houston; two daughters, Suzanne Searle Czarnek and Annette Searle Vidrine; one son, Noel Edwin Searle; one sister, Betty Dykes Matteson; five grandchildren, Trisha Kott Cocanougher, Edwin Buchanan Kott, Courtney Alexandra Vidrine, Katherine Lindsey Vidrine and Kenneth Wayne Vidrine, II; and three great-grandchildren, Ashleigh Brooke Morse, Kendall Garrett Cocanougher and Amelia Elise Clark.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix Ray Dykes and Ruby Sherrod Spears Dykes; one sister Geraldine Dudley Dykes Nowlin; two brothers Percy Ray Dykes and Felix Roy Dykes.

Beverly Jane grew up in La Grange where she graduated from La Grange High School. She married Noel Searle in 1958 and they shared their life and raised their family in Harlingen. The Searles retired to Kerrville in 2002 and later moved to and resided in Youngsville, Louisiana. Beverly spent most of her life serving, directing and presiding over multiple service and charitable organizations. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family requested visitation be observed at Koenig & Strickland Funeral Home on Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016 from 10 a.m. until time of services.

Funeral services for Beverly Jane Dykes Searle were held on Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016 at 1 p.m. in Koenig & Strickland Funeral Home Chapel in La Grange. Interment was in the La Grange City Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Barry Noel Adelman, John Michael Czarnek, Kenneth Wayne Vidrine I, Kenneth Wayne Vidrine, II, Richard Matteson, Edwin Buchanan Kott, Rex Searle, Edwin Anselm Searle, Jr., and Steve Nowlin.

Honorary pallbearers were Ike Clark, Whit Matteson, Tim Dykes and Ted Munsell.
