Jane Erna (Schievelbein) Fischer, 70, of Lincoln, died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016 at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. Jane Erna (Schievelbein) Fischer was born on June 28, 1946 in San Antonio, the daughter of Edward J. Schievelbein and Meta L. (Uhr) Schievelbein. She married Bobby Fischer on July 20, 1991 in Lee County. Jane was the bookkeeper for Jake’s Sales and Service in Giddings for many years. She enjoyed fishing, taking care of her flowers and cooking. She loved being with her family and would do anything for them. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017 at Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Giddings with Rev. Jeremy Walloch officiating. Burial will follow in the Giddings City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Martin Luther Lutheran Church General Fund, 573 North Main Street, Giddings, Texas 78942 or to the charity of one’s choice.
