Remember When?

Jan. 3, 1967 For the second year in a row the boys outnumbered the girls in new arrivals at Fayette Memorial Hospital. During 1966, 54 lads made their debut, while 50 little girls were born – for a total of 104 births. Patricia Ann Cook, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William E. Cook of Flatonia, was the first baby to greet 1967. Born at 3 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 1, she weighed seven pounds, six ounces. The newborn was welcomed by her grandmother, Mrs. Lena K. Hubbard of La Grange, three brothers and a sister
