Missing My Clothesline

I think I have become spoiled – spoiled to modern conveniences. I have a dishwasher that can be programmed to run hours after I load it, (when no one is using any water elsewhere in the house.) I have a washing machine that can be programmed to have the clean laundry ready to place in the dryer when I get home or when I get up in the morning. And I have a dryer that can sense when the clothes are dry, or not, and stop or continue accordingly.
