Gonzales-Tovar

Eulogia Maria (Perez) Gonzales- Tovar, 80 of La Grange, died Friday, Feb. 17, 2017. Eulogia was born in Karnes City, the daughter of Francisco and Damiana (Pineda) Perez. She married her first husband, Guillermo Gonzales in Robstown in 1953. Eulogia married her second husband, Julian Tovar, in Bay City in 1976. She is survived by eight children: Henry Gonzales and wife, Ofelia, of Corpus Christi; Ruben Gonzales of Houston; Laura Aguilar of La Grange; Richard Gonzales and wife, Elva, of Houston; Alonzo Gonzales of Houston; Martha Upchurch and husband, Robert, of La Grange; Maria Moore and husband, David, of Houston; Angela Heintschel and husband, Lambert, of La Grange; three sisters: Amelia Navarro and husband, Pete, of Robstown; Ufemia Perez of Corpus Christi; Delia Perez and husband, Robert, of El Campo; two brothers: Nicholas Perez of Corpus Christi and Alfredo Perez of Orange Grove; grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Koenig & Strickland Funeral Home in La Grange at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017. Burial followed at La Grange City Cemetery. Koenig & Strickland Funeral Home in La Grange was in charge of arrangements.
