Marjorie Beatrice (Swatloski) Kenne, 92, of La Grange, died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017. Marjorie was born in Houston on Nov. 10, 1924, the daughter of Stash and Pearl (Stepanski) Swatloski. She married Everest R. Kenne, Sr. in 1944. Marjorie worked as a bookkeeper in the retail industry for many years. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting and art. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court Annunciation No. 1962 and the La Grange Garden Club/Faison Home. She is survived by two sons: Everest R. “Jack” Kenne, Jr. and wife, Cindy; and Robert Kenne and wife, Janice; two daughters: Patty Pritchett and husband, Jerry; and Paula Kenne; daughterin- law, Gale; two grandchildren: Valerie and Harrison; ten siblings: Thomas, Billy, Paul, Barbara, Leo, Marie, Stephen, Eva “Bebe”, Patsy and Rita. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Everest; brothers, Johnny and Andrew; and sister, Julia “Dolly”. Visitation was held on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017 from 9 to 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Grange. Funeral Services were held at 10 a.m. following the visitation. Burial was held at 2:30 p.m. at South Park Cemetery in Pearland. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to La Grange Garden Club, 380 Rose Mayer Loop, La Grange, Texas 78945; Sacred Heart Catholic Church, P.O.
