ATV Accident Injures Two

A father and daughter were injured in an ATV accident north of La Grange in Sunday, March 19.

The accident happened shortly before 4:37 p.m. on property along FM 2981 about ¾ of a mile west of State Highway 159. 

According to a report from the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, 61-year-old Nathan Norsworthy was driving a four-wheeler with his 20-year-old daughter Paige Norsworthy riding on the back. The pair were trying to run some cattle into a pen, according to the report.

Chief Deputy Randy Noviskie of the Sheriff’s Office said the four-wheeler took a sharp turn and rolled on its side, pinning the elder Norsworthy underneath.
