Veteran La Grange school trustee Dr. L.D. Boelsche was reelected to a three-year term and Rudolph Voss was elected as a new board member following the tally of 849 votes cast.

In the city election, Mayor Milton von Minden polled 495 votes to win his ninth two-year term as mayor. H. A. Engbrock, who had completed his 23rd year on council, lost his Ward 4 seat to Charlie R. Ripper. Ward 1 Alderman George H. Giesber, who had served as mayor pro-tem for a number of years, was reelected, along with Ward 2 Alderman Milton J. Pechal and Ward 3 Alderman Chas. W. Priebe.
