Familiar Names Among Von Minden Investors

Some of the faces behind the company that purchased the historic Von Minden Hotel in Schulenburg last week will be familiar to many local folks.

Ryan Wotipka, Clay Rightmer and Hector Mendez formed the company Von Minden Associates Llc., which closed on the property last Wednesday. Wotipka and Rightmer are Schulenburg-area natives. Mendez is a Houston-based designer and real estate development project manager.

The three previously worked together on the Muldoon Mercantile restoration project, which was completed in 2013.
