Locals Working on New Play For Mother’s Day Weekend

The Fayette County Community Theater will present its second production, “Mama Won’t Fly,” May 12 and 13 at 7 p.m. and a special Mothers Day matinee at 3 p.m. on May 14 in the Historic Casino Hall theater.

 The play is described as the story of a hilarious  cross-country road trip about getting a flying-averse mother to her son’s wedding in California. 

She is accompanied by her daughter and daughter-in-law to be. The play is in two acts. The director is Jay Volceka of Flatonia.
