REMEMBER WHEN ?

May 26-30, 1967 Fifteen Sacred Heart School students received their diplomas at exercises following the 7:30 Mass Monday night at Sacred Heart Church. Graduating were: Robert Chovanec, Charles Faldyn, Lawrence Faldyn, Deborah Gold, Kenneth Hernandez, Frank Kana, Richard Kana, Ronald Kubesch, Betty Lastovica,

Rebecca Munsch, Michael Petras, Evelyn Recek, Shirley Sladek, Wanda Wessels and Nancy Zigal. Fayette Memorial Hospital Auxiliary’s scrapbook won first place in its division at the 38th annual convention of the Texas Hospital Association and its allied groups in Houston. Funeral services were held for: Charles F. Roscher, 73, of O’Quinn; Emil G. Loewe, 67, of Round Top; Rudolph Kramr, 79, of Ellinger; and Edwin H. (Ikey) Reiss, 73, a La Grange native.
