Funeral service for Kervin Reuter, 78, of Giddings, were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 2, 2017 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Giddings with Rev. Chris Nietubicz officiating. Burial followed in the Giddings City Cemetery Kervin Earl Reuter was born on Aug. 28, 1938 in Round Top, the son of Erwin H. and Edna (Michael) Reuter. He was a truck driver for Domaschk Lumber Company in Giddings for many years and retired as a truck driver for Lee County Petroleum. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, taking care of his dogs, playing poker and spending time with his family and friends. Kervin passed away the evening of Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at St. Mark’s Medical Center in La Grange. Kervin is survived by his sister, Delores Wessels of Columbus; sister-in-law, Gloria Reuter of Stafford; nephews and nieces, Richard Wessels of Columbus, Doug Wessels and his wife, Anne of Columbus, Carol Domaschk Green of Austin, Elwood Domaschk Jr. and his wife, Jeanette of Houston, Steven Reuter and his wife, Debbie of Houston, Terry Reuter and his wife, Karla of Houston, Sandra Reuter Stockwell of Bay City and John Reuter of Houston as well as good friends, Dee Dee Sanchez of Georgetown and Christian Sanchez of Burnet. Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings was in chargeof arrangements.
