Sports Bar Burglarized Before it Opens

Someone broke into Sammy’s Sports Bar in La Grange and stole TVs and kitchen equipment worth nearly $6,000 – and the place isn’t yet open for business.

According to a report from La Grange Police Chief David Gilbreath, the burglary happened sometime between 6 p.m. on June 2 and 8 a.m. on June 3, when workers arrived to find the missing items.

The items stolen included seven 24-inch televisions, six 55-inch televisions, a commercial stand mixer and a commercial microwave. Management reported the value of the items at $5,772.
