Knotts Continue Courthouse Quest

Out And About

Ron and Pam Knotts recently returned from ten days in North Texas spending time with family. One of the weekends they were with their sons, both of their boys participated in a Spartan Challenge Run held at the Dallas Cowboy Football Stadium. They had been training for months for the complex obstacle course that involved scaling walls, rope climbing, running most of the steps in the upper level of the stadium, and more. After the race there was time to visit with granddaughters and eat chicken fried steak. During the following week the Knotts traveled around East Texas taking pictures of county courthouses. They have visited almost 200 over twenty years. Returning to the Dallas area for Father’s Day weekend they walked in a 5K charity run called the “Must - Dash”. Everyone had to wear a mustache, their own or one pasted on. Ron wore his own mustache, but Pam had to have her mustache applied to her upper lip. They had a lot of fun and a nice long visit while walking the course.

John and Debra Schwartzenburg enjoyed a visit from John’s brother and sister in law, Irving and Kayleen Schwartzenburg from Houston. They came out for a little country air and lots of relaxation.
