VFW Post 5252 And Auxiliary Honor Korean War Veterans

La Grange Korean War veterans were honored at the July meeting of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5254 and the VFW Auxiliary in commemoration of the end of the Korean War on July 27, 1953. The names of all the Korean War veterans were called out and the three that were present were given a citation by the VFW Auxiliary President Beverly Gray.

A light meal of pizza and cold drinks furnished by the VFW was served to all present before the program and meetings. In the absence of VFW Commander Merle Henson, Senior Vice-Commander Andrew Kruppa presided.
