Robinson

Funeral services for Stephen Robinson, 57, of Lincoln, were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017 at First Assembly of God in Giddings with Pastors Diane Herlitz, Pat Herlitz, and David L. Smith officiating. Burial was held at 12:45 p.m. at Nassau Cemetery in Round Top. Stephen Pearle Robinson was born on May 28, 1960 in Brattleboro, Vt. to Wayland and Nancy (Taylor) Robinson. He was united in marriage to Susan Schlabach on Sept. 6, 2008 in Belton. He was a machinist for ATI. He was an Eagle Scout, and a member of the Rifle and Horseshoe clubs. He enjoyed woodworking, especially building outdoor furniture, fishing, traveling, snowmobiling and helping at church. He died the morning of Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017 at Seton Medical Center in Austin. He is survived by his parents, Wayland and Nancy Robinson of Vermont; wife of eight years, Susan Robinson of Lincoln; daughter, Shawna Eileen of Vermont; brother, Donald Robinson and his wife, Winnie of Belton; godchildren, Julian Palomo of Lincoln and Misael Gallardo of Lincoln; cousin, Kim Boisvert and her husband, David of South Carolina, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings was in charge of arrangements.
