River Predited to Crest at 51 Feet

The National Weather Service issued a flood update at 10 p.m. The agency now predicts the river to crest at 51.3 feet tomorrow afternoon, Monday Aug. 28.

Thats nearly two feet higher than previous prediction, and just five feet below the all time record of 56.7 feet.

The City of La Grange issued a mandatory evacuation order for residents on Water Street and below toward the river.
