Myron Bruening

Myron Bruening, 84, died Sept. 5, 2017. He was born on June 1, 1933 in Roznov to Robert Bruening and Aleitha Kaltwasser Bruening. Visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 8, 2017 from 12 to 7 p.m. at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. The family will receive visitors from 5 to 7 p.m. Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Florida Chapel Cemetery in Round Top. Myron served in the Army. He worked as a metal worker. He also was a member of the Shelby American Legion Post 602 and he was a member of Hermann Sons. He is survived by daughter Denise Elaine Jeschonnek and husband Norbert; only granddaughter Jessica Nicole Jeschonnek; daughter Beverly Sue Koller; brother Robert Bruening, Jr and wife Mary; sister-in-law Carolyn Bruening; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Susan Maerker Bruening; brother Aurel Bruening and infant brother Beryl Bruening. Family suggests memorial donations be made to Shelby American Legion Post No. 602, Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter or the charity of one’s choice.
