Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled that Fieweger died from an overdose of AB-CHIMINCA toxicity. AB-CHIMINCA is a synthetic cannabinoid that mimics marijuana. The trial lasted six days. The first five days took place from Aug. 21 to 25. The trial was delayed due to flooding in Houston caused by Hurricane Harvey. The jury met for a final day of deliberations on Sept. 7.
