Google Earth Reveals Swastika Cut into Field Here
A Fayette County landowner made a shocking discovery when looking at aeriel views of their property this week – what appears to be a Nazi swastika cut into a neighboring field.
This landowner was looking at Google Earth images checking photos of what their farmland looked like prior to the recent flooding and how their land may have been impacted by erosion. It was then that the landowner saw the large Nazi symbol (which has been adopted by modern hate groups) cut into an area that appears to be about an acre large.
Based on the condition of the farmland in the photo, the Google image was taken in the spring. More recent aerial photos of the area show that the symbol is now gone. Because we have not been able to verify who may have cut (or mowed) the symbol into the pasture (owner, renter, trespasser) we are not identifying the location of the property.
