Deer Hunting and Hog Trapping

It’s hunting season – deer hunting season, that is. My husband, son, sons-in-law and daughter all bow hunt, so deer hunting season at our house begins in October. I like it when deer season is here. Especially when a deer is harvested and we get some venison on the table.

Around our house, there have been targets set up in the yard for weeks. Arrows and licenses have been purchased. Feeders have been filled. Game cameras are monitored regularly. All is ready and has been for a while. The hunters have been going out in the evenings and early mornings hoping to get a shot at one of the many deer they have seen on the images downloaded from the game camera.
