Evelyn Minnie (Urbanovsky) Stall

Evelyn Minnie (Urbanovsky) Stall, 81, of La Grange, died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017. Evelyn was born in Fayetteville on July 14, 1936 to Adolph and Frances (Chovanec) Urbanovsky. She married Joe F. Stall, Jr. on August 12, 1956 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Schulenburg. She loved all animals, but especially her cats. One of the many simple pleasures of life Evelyn had was her joy of eating raspberry donuts. She was a manager at Gindlers Department Store for over 40 years and also worked for various other department stores throughout her career. She is survived by nieces and nephews: Lana Limmer; Kim Sternadel and special friend, Sue Schoenst; Luke Sternadel and wife, Audrey, all of Waldeck, Texas; and numerous great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe; sister, Loraine Sternadel and brother-in-law, Merle Sternadel. Visitation was held on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017 from 12 to 7 p.m. at Koenig & Strickland Funeral Home. Family received friends from 6 to 7 p.m. A Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Funeral services were held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Grange at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017.
