Brazos Cluster Women of the ELCA Fall Happening Held

The Brazos Cluster Women of the ELCA Fall Happening was held on Saturday, Oct. 21 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Wiedeville, near Brenham. Thirty-two women attended with the theme, “Spreading God’s Word.” Nadine Rau welcomed the group and the opening hymn, “Spirit, Spirit of Gentleness” was sung.

Pastor Charles Parnell of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church gave the opening devotion, based on 1 Peter, verses 24 and 25, emphasizing that we should put our trust in the Word of God. The hymn, “I, the Lord of Sea & Sky” was then sung.
