Wild Hogs on the Rise in Muldoon Area

The hogs are back with a vengeance in the area. They have been crossing the roads and getting hit with regularity. These animals are causing damage on the roads and in the pastures. A majority of hogs are dark or black and blend in well to their background. On the road it can seem the roadway is moving due to a large number of hogs crossing the road. Once hit the black carcasses are still hard to see at night and can still cause damage to those driving. Caution is needed when out and about.

Weather

The weather has been on the warm side in Muldoon this past week. Temperatures were in the eighties during the day. On Thursday morning a front came through and brought some much needed moisture. Showers brought over three tenths of an inch as of this writing. Unfortunately the temps have remained warm and humid after the rainfall. The Thanksgiving weather may be a little warm this year if the cool front that is promised does not make it down to our area.
