Luedke

Glenn Christophe Luedke was born on July 30, 1938 in William Penn, Texas. He was called to his Savior’s side and eternal home on Monday, Nov. 20, 2017 at Oakland Manor Nursing Center in Giddings. Glenn is survived by his wife of 56 years, Alice Luedke of Northrup; his son, Dane Luedke of Northrup; two grandchildren, Sommer Garman and her husband, Chris of San Antonio and Caleb Kuhlmann and his wife, Wendy of Montgomery; six great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Carmen Luedke of Brenham; two sisters, Margie Fleissner and her husband, Johnnie of Dale and Mitzie Frazier and her husband, Butch of Cypress; two brothers, Larry Luedke and his wife, Sandy of Huffman and Terry Luedke & his wife, Melody of Midlothian; two aunts, Dorothy Luedke of Centerville and Alvina Luedke of Huntsville; two brothers-in-law, Paul Mitschke & his wife, Evelyn of Giddings and Calvin Mitschke & his wife, Ina of Northrup as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services for Glenn Luedke, 79, of Northrup were held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Serbin with Rev. John Schmidt officiating. Burial, with military honors provided by the Giddings American Legion York Post 276, followed in the church cemetery. Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings was in charge of arrangements.
