La Grange High School Class of 1953 Reunion Held

On Saturday, Nov. 18, at the Frisch Auf! Valley Country Club in La Grange, fourteen classmates along with nine spouses and friends celebrated and recalled memories of days in the past and looked forward to many more days to come.

Entertainment by Dick Smith, reviewing memory books of photos and stories, food and drink, and great conversations were all part of the evening.

Jo Ann Albers Mueller, Gloria Baca Merwin, Lucille Blume Strickland, G.R. Thurman, and J. Weldon Koenig were the reunion organizers. Each attending classmate provided a few memories and spoke about their lifetime since graduation.
