La Grange Police Arrest Local Man For Crack

La Grange Police arrested a man for possession of crack cocaine Sunday afternoon, Dec. 10.

According to a report from Police Chief David Gilbreath, officers David Mohr and Bret Meinardus responded around 3:08 p.m. to a disturbance at well-known gathering spot for drug activity known as the “Yum Yum Tree,” located at the corner of North College and East Guadalupe Street.

Upon arrival, Mohr observed a man standing behind a grey SUV parked in the area. When the man saw the officers arrive, Gilbreath said, the man ran around the SUV and threw an object into the vehicle’s open window.
