Imogene Snider

Funeral services for Imogene Snider, 89, of Giddings were held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pin Oak with Father Uche Andeh offi ciating. Burial followed in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Pin Oak, Texas. A Rosary was recited Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. Imogene Mary (Meuth) Snider was born on March 26, 1928 in Pin Oak to Peter George Meuth and Elonora Mary (Lehman) Meuth. She was united in marriage to Floyd F. Snider in Longview and they were blessed with fi ve children. Imogene died Friday, Dec. 29, 2017 at Seton Smithville Regional Hospital in Smithville. She is survived by her fi ve children, Bert Snider and Carolyn Tuttle of Serbin, Tonya Mayfi eld and her husband David of Hurst, Brenda Lyons and her husband Steve of Longview, Kathy Ballard of Longview, and Steve Snider and his wife Lana of Longview; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Mildred Darsey and her husband Johnny of Pin Oak, and one brother, Eugene Meuth of Pin Oak. Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings was in charge of arrangements.
