Squires

Loretta Marie Wick Squires, 81, passed away into eternal rest unexpectedly on Saturday, Dec. 23, 2017. Loretta was born July 21, 1936 on a farm in High Hill to Charles and Hilda Wick. Her family later moved to Schulenburg where she lived until she graduated from high school. She always said growing up on a farm in a small town was a wonderful experience. She is survived by her husband, Donald Squires; children Donna Smith and fiancé Jeff Jones, Brenda Goodrich and husband Greg, and Mark Squires; grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister Marcella Wueste and husband Matt, brothers Eugene Wick and wife Barbara, Marvin Wick and wife Shirley, and numerous nieces and nephews. A Rosary was held Jan. 5, 2018, 1:15 p.m. at St. Matthews Catholic Church, 10703 Wurzbach. Immediately after the Rosary, funeral services including a full Mass was held and then a procession to Holy Cross Cemetery at 17501 Nacogdoches Rd.
