Fayette County Schools Close for Another Day

All Fayette County schools announced they will cancel classes for another day on Wednesday, Jan. 17, due to ice on the roads. 

The closures include La Grange, Schulenburg, Flatonia, Fayetteville and Round Top-Carmine ISDs, along with Sacred Heart Catholic School in La Grange and St. Rose Catholic School in Schulenburg. Weimar and Columbus ISDs also cancelled classes for Wednesday.

in addition, the City of La Grange is delaying garbage and recycling pickup by one day for all customers.

Fayette County offices will open at noon on Wednesday. The City of Schulenburg will also reopen for business at noon on Wednesday. 

District Court at the Fayette County Courthouse has also been cancelled for Wednesday.
