Combined Community Action Casino Night Slated Feb. 23

Combined Community Action is holding its 15th Annual Casino Night Fundraiser on Friday, Feb. 23 at 6 p.m. at The Lion’s Den, FM 141 in Giddings. The tickets are $30 per person and include appetizers, a fried catfish dinner and a 10,000 gaming token to be given at the door. At the end of the evening players will receive one drawing ticket per 5,000 tokens for prizes leading up to the Grand Prize, a thousand dollar Southwest Airlines gift card. Winchester Civic Association

The Winchester Area Civic Association (WACA) is accepting dues for the 2018 year. The dues are $10 a year per family and are used to help maintain Zilss Hall. Anyone in the Winchester and surrounding area may join by sending your dues to WACA, 8945 FM 153, Winchester, Texas 78945. You may also join at the February WACA meeting on Feb. 5, 7 p.m., at Zilss Hall.
