Adcock Pleads Guilty to Manslaughter
Mother of Victim ‘said she could forgive, but would not forget’; Hugs Defendant at Sentencing
Greg Adcock of Schulenburg pleaded guilty in district court Wednesday, Jan. 31., to second degree felony manslaughter for the strangulation death of Russell Holub last summer.
Holub, 45, was found dead on July 25 of last year at his home on US 90 west of Schulenburg. Investigators quickly identified Adcock, 35 of Schulenburg, as a suspect. Adcock turned himself into the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office that same day. He was initially charged with murder and has remained in custody since.
