Linda Sue (Beck) Hatfield

Linda Sue (Beck) Hatfield, 69, of La Grange, died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018. Linda was born in Hawkins County, Tenn. on June 11, 1948, the daughter of Herbert Beck, Sr. and Juanita (Woods) Beck. She married Robert “Bob” W. Hatfield on May 26, 1991 in Bacliff, Texas. She worked for the Galveston County Central Appraisal District as a data research clerk and was a real estate agent in Galveston County. They moved to La Grange in 2007 from Bacliff. Linda enjoyed crafting, gardening and most of all spending time with her family and ministering the word of God. She is survived by her husband, Bob; one daughter, Kimberly Sullivan of Greeneville, Tenn.; one son, Mark Reeves of Texas City; first husband, Mack Reeves; two step-daughters, Natalie Taylor of La Porte and Barbara Dunten and husband, John, of Friendswood; two stepsons, Robert Hatfield and Daniel Hatfield, both of Seabrook; two brothers, Glen Beck and wife, Betty, of Bulls Gap, Tenn. and Ron Beck of La Grange; two grandchildren, Randy Sullivan and Shelby Sullivan, five step-grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and sisters-in-Christ: Barbara, Maricel, Rose and Roma. She was preceded in death by her parents; step granddaughter, Elizabeth Hatfield; and niece, Melissa Beck-Smith. Visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 23, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Koenig & Strickland Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow beginning at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial following in Rutersville Cemetery.
