Debra “Debbie” Beisert

Funeral services for Debra “Debbie” Beisert, 61, of Lincoln, were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Christ Lutheran Church in Loebau, Texas with Rev. Garrett Smith officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Debra Ann (Lay) Beisert was born on Nov. 14, 1956 in Giddings to Quinnies Nolan “Pete” Lay and Ida Mae (Copus) Lay. She attended school in Lexington and received her Associates Degree in Early Childhood. She married Ronnie Beisert on March 16, 1974 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Giddings. She died unexpectedly Friday, March 2, 2018 at her home. She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Beisert of Lincoln; three daughters, Julie Beisert- Smith and her husband Hoby of Hutto, Nathalie Arldt and her husband, David of Ledbetter and Jennica Wheeler of Lincoln; seven-grandchildren; one sister, Linda Lehmann and her husband, Jimmie of Dime Box; her parents-in-law, Alvin and Ruth Beisert of Giddings; one brother-in-law, Michael Beisert and his wife, Deborah of Giddings as well as several nieces and nephews. Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings is in charge of arrangements.
