James “Jim” Everett Frenzel

A private memorial service for James “Jim” Everett Frenzel, 73, of Giddings will be held at a later date. James “Jim” Everett Frenzel was born on Nov. 19, 1944 in Burton to Virgil Gilbert Frenzel and Ora Lee (Eckert) Frenzel. Jim died Monday, March 5, 2018 at his residence in Giddings following a recent open heart surgery. He is preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Ora Lee Frenzel; step-son, Brian Champine and one sister, Barbara Mueller. He is survived by his wife of nine years, Lynne Frenzel of Giddings; two daughters, Denise Whaley and her husband James of Pearland and Christine Frenzel of Austin; two step sons, Gregory Champine of Austin and Matthew Champine of Austin; two grandchildren, Delaney Conroy of Dallas and William Conroy of Dallas; one brother, Bruce Frenzel and his wife Rosemary of Round Top and two nieces, Kimberly Locke and her husband Jason of Giddings and Laura Baker and her husband Lucas of North Carolina. Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings is in charge of arrangements.
