Speaker Upset at Firing in Precinct 2

Lisa Hibbeler kicked off Monday’s county commissioners court meeting with some sharp words during the public comment portion of the proceedings.

Hibbeler said that a “20- year” county employee from Pct. 2 was recently terminated and the only reason given for the firing was having a “bad attitude.”

“The motivation for this termination was personal, in my opinion,” Hibbeler said. “Attitude starts at the top.”
