Carmine Fire Department Elects Officers

Carmine Volunteer Fire Department Drill Night is April 12 at 7 p.m.

Election of officers was held March 22 and all but one were re-elected. Mike McIntosh was elected as a captain, replacing a fireman who resigned. Twelve members attended the meeting. The fire chief informed the group that there are some new policies and bylaws.

Discussion was held about painting the inside of the Fireman’s Annex. Also some changes were made in the contract of leasing the annex. Non-profit organizations in Carmine may use the building free of charge.
