Remember When?

April 2-5, 1968

Dedication of the new St. Paul Lutheran Church educational building drew large crowds on Sunday in La Grange. The Rev. Don Flachmeier delivered the sermon at the two regular morning services that were attended by approximately 700 people. The Rev. H. T. Flachmeier of Beeville and the Rev. Clarence Oestreich, host pastor, dedicated the educational building at 9:30. In the afternoon, a steady stream of an estimated 2,000 visitors, both local and from out of town, filed through the new building.

Dr. James F. Tiemann advertised the opening of his veterinary medicine practice, Fayette County Veterinary Clinic, at a location to be announced.
