‘Hope Hill’ Development Planned for Flood Victims

Fayette County Disaster Recovery Team (FCDRT) announced this week it will purchase approximately 23 acres of property on Horton Street to build homes for flood victims.

The land will be carved out of a 28-acre property that lies between Horton Street and SH 71 Bypass on the north side of La Grange. Bill Karisch owns the property. He will retain about five acres along the bypass for future commercial development.
