Downsizing

Traveling is fun. Packing for the trip is not, at least not for me. I have many things that I want to bring with me, and if I am traveling by car, I can bring everything I want – including the kitchen sink. But, if I am traveling by air, I realize that bringing everything that I want may mean paying extra luggage fees.

When I start planning what I need to bring on a trip, I make a list about a week ahead of time so I don’t forget any of the necessary items. I prioritize my list placing necessities on one side and extras on the other. This list is dependent on whether the trip is business or pleasure.
