Anna Marie Baxter, 59, of Austin, died at her home Sunday, June 3, 2018. She was born on April 20, 1959 in La Grange to James Schultz and Artie (Braun) Schultz. Anna worked for 25 years as an office manager at the Anderson Group and AREIA. Anna enjoyed gardening, playing trivia games, and spending time with her family and friends. The annual beach vacation was always a special event. Anna is survived by her son, Andy Baxter; mother, Artie Schultz; sister, Cynthia Mathews and husband Michael; brothers-in-law and wives, Bart and Tanya Baxter, Blane and Beverly Baxter; aunts and uncles, Theo and Gladys Svec, Leon and Jo Ann Heintschel Jr., Milton and Ann Heintschel, Lamber and Angela Heintschel. Anna was fortunate to have her close friends of more than 20 years whom she considered to be her Austin family; Connie and Michael Brewster; Scott, Connie, Shannon and Nicole White; Dawn White and Matt Maschinot. Anna was preceded in death by her father, James Schultz; grandparents, Will and Molly Schultz, Leon and Leona Heintschel; aunts and uncles, Leara and Robert Lee Henneke, and Ruth Ann Seifert. A Celebration of Life in honor of Anna will be held Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Shady Hollow Community Center, 3303 Doe Run, Austin, Texas 78748. The family asks that for those wishing to make a memorial to honor Anna, suggestions are the Austin Animal Center, the Austin Siamese Resuce, the Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter, or the charity of your choice.
