Schwartzenburg Reunion Held in Muldoon

The Schwartzenburg siblings held a gathering over the week of 4th of July. Thirty one members of the Schwartzenburg family enjoyed getting together over the July 4th holiday week at John and Debra Schwartzenburg’s home in Muldoon.One of the siblings is Nada Burns and husband Ted, who moved in to be closer to John and enjoy the country life.

They try to get together every two years which is an amazing accomplishment now that the family has to travel from Washington, Minnesota, Iowa, Kentucky, Virginia, Maryland, and Connecticut as well as all over Texas. The group especially enjoyed Texas hospitality at the Muldoon Parade and Rightmer Fireworks along with large doses of barbecue and Tex-Mex food. Debra commented on how much it warmed her heart that her daughters have stayed close to their cousins some who live so far away now. It is these strong family bonds that keep us grounded on what is really important. Different ideologies and beliefs exist in this large group of Schwartzenburgs, but a common love for each other soothes the differences. The large group is looking forward to getting together in 2020.
