Funeral services for Elton Kaiser, 80, of Northrup, are scheduled for 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Serbin with Rev. John Schmidt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018 from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. and on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018 from 7 a.m. until 8 a.m. at Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings. The Kaiser family will be present for visitation Tuesday evening from 5 until 7 p.m. Elton Ervin Kaiser died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018 at his home in Northrup surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 13, 1938 in Lexington, the son of the late Ludwig Karl Kaiser and Sophie Amanda (Drosche) Kaiser. Elton was united in marriage with Evelyn (Zoch) Kaiser on July 16, 1960 Elton is survived by his wife of 58 years, Evelyn (Zoch) Kaiser of Northrup. They were blessed with four children, Brenda Irwin and her husband, Larry of Northrup, Sandra Kalbas and her husband, Leroy of Northrup, Diane Childs and her husband, Jay of Elgin, and Allen Kaiser and his wife, Lana of Serbin; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; sister, Lillie Mae Boettcher of Lexington; his brother, Charles Kaiser of Lexington; his brother-in-law, Alfred Symmank of Cypress, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings is in charge of arrangements.
